Dr. Asztalos’ primary area of research is in clinical epidemiology, with the body of her work in clinical trials. Her main areas of strength are the neurodevelopmental monitoring and follow-up of high-risk infants.
She has conducted several large-scale trials in the perinatal and neonatal domains. She is on numerous grants as co-Pi as well as steering committees on a number of project nation-wide.
