Cochlear Implant Electrophysiology Lab

Our research is focused on the cognitive and sensory aspects of hearing with a cochlear implant. The overall arching theme of the lab is to understand the neural processes of hearing with a a cochlear implant in order to develop technologies to improve the lives of people with cochelar implants.

We will typically use high density EEG (electroencephalography) to help us understand how the brain processes sound when listening using a cochlear implant.

The Cochlear Implant Electrophysiology Lab is under the direction of Dr. Andrew Dimitrijevic.
